Jaguar Land Rover launches Jaguar F TYPE sports car priced around Rs 1.61 crore: Tata Motors has just launched its Jaguar Land Rover(JLR) F type sports car today, the price of JLR F type would be Rs.1.61 crore (Show room price Mumbai,India)
The same kind of Cars are building in India. The F type Jaguar would be available in two types. The F type V8S 5 litre petrol engine car price will be Rs.1.61 crore and the F type V6s 3 litre Petrol engine car price will be Rs.1.37 crores
"The implementation of F type has a great value for Jaguar, basically we are awaiting for predifined benifits from Car. Jaguar will improve the brand in India," vice president Rohit Suri said to PTI.
In the begninning the market for sports car is vey low in India, he said and is not looking for volumes of Jaguar Land Rover.
"The main aim of launching the F TYPE is not for volumes but to demonstrate technology and take it as a model product with other products benefiting from it" Suri said.
He answored to a Question if Jaguar Land Rover is looking into manufacture more models in India more over the Land Rover Freelander 2 and the Jaguar XF sedan, he replyed: "Yes, we are continuously availing the opportunities based on progress of the product."
Suri, have not revealed any Information about the JLR models which will be manufactured at Tata Motors Pune location he said it will all depend on the business ".
Regarding Sales JLR in April-June quarter increase the sales 68 per cent particlarly by the XF seden. "Currently we have demand for hight quantity of Sedan in 2 to 3 months, slowly we will increase the capacity to meet the demand" he told.
