Fiat Chrysler is about to rise in Indian share market:One of the Top Automotive group in India, Fiat Chrysler is about to increase in its market share in India by launching 9 new models in next 3 years which includes improving sales and network service.
Fiat Chrysler opened its seventh exclusive outlet in Delhi India. According to the Nagesh Basavanhalli currently Fiat have 70 exclusive dealers in India it will be increased by 100 end of this year.
Fiat Chrysler India Operations President and Managing Director Nagesh Basavanhalli said to the reports
"As part of the expansion plan, we plan to launch nine models, a combination of refreshed and new models, in the next three years,".
Fiat Chrysler is about to launching the new products from current year and would be continue for the coming three years, he told to reports without disclosing the details.
The company is planning to launching Abarth and Chrysler not only Fiat models Basavanhalli said.
The companies new iconic Jeep model from Chrysler stable will be launched in India in the 4th qur quarter of this year.
Basavanhalli shared his views on Increasing share market in India "We have less than one per cent currently,
which we plan to double each year for the next three years." According to SIAM data passenger vehicles market in India including cars, stood at 26.86 lakh units in 2012-13. The company planning to launch four from Chrysler brand, four models from Fiat and one model from Abarth marquee in the next three years, Basavanhalli told to the press.
Basavanhalli also said company would like enter into SUV segment, apart from premium hatchback and midsized sedans segment.
"Fiat India views Delhi as a very strategic market and the inauguration of an exclusive dealership is in accordance with our strategy to capitalise on this potential," Basavanhalli said. Fiat and Tata Motors ended their partnership to sale the vehicles from Tata show rooms last year and started own show rooms from this year to sale the vehicles in India
